In November 2018, a split of Bitcoin Cash took place between two rival factions called Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV. The split arose from what was described as a "civil war" in two competing bitcoin camps. The first camp, led by entrepreneur Roger Ver and Jihan Wu from Bitmain, promoted the software titled Bitcoin ABC (short for Adjustable Blocksize Cap) which would keep the block size at 32 MB. The second camp led by Craig Steven Wright and billionaire Calvin Ayre presented a competing software version Bitcoin SV, an abbreviation for "" Bitcoin Satoshi's Vision "", which would increase the block to 128 MB.
