Wabi (WABI)

The Tael ecosystem used to be called Walimai while its incentive token was known as WaBi. The word “Tael” was popular among Asians many years ago as a term that referred to silver money. Tael was formed in 2014 (as Walimai) but was commercialized only in 2016. It was established by Yaz Belinskiy and Alex Busarov and its main base is in China. Tael’s primary goal is to help consumers – its users – verify the authenticity of products. As mentioned earlier, NFC labels are attached to every manufactured product and this is what the consumers scan to verify if the product is authentic or not. The NFC label also gives consumers an idea of what the product went through during the supply chain process. Users that complete their transactions or purchases using the Tael token are given rewards. The token is used across the ecosystem, as well as for its partners.
