Loopring

Loopring is an open protocol for building decentralized exchanges on the initiative of Daniel Wang. The protocol is scalable and serves as a standardized building block for decentralized applications (dApps) that contain exchange functionality. It works on Ethereum and QTUM, while NEO is also under construction. The founder and CEO of Loopring is Daniel Wang. In 2014 he was the head of Coin Port a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange. He also worked as Google Tech Lead and was co-founder of Yunrang Technology.

Jay Zhou is the CMO of Loopring. He was previously employed by EY (Ernst & Young), helped to build SJ Consulting and worked at PayPal's Risk Operations department. Johnston Chen, the COO of the project, has previously worked as CIO at 3NOD. A substantial part (30.5%) of the offer is in the hands of the foundation behind Loopring. The token of Loopring is based on the Ethereum blockchain and is therefore an ERC20 token. Miners for Loopring receive a small amount of LRC for all transactions made via Loopring.

Loopring is open-source and in which everyone can participate. Anyone can become a DEX (decentralized exchange) with the Loopring software: you can participate in our DEX network to share liquidity, or create and manage your own DEX network.

In total there are 1.37 billion LRC coins.
