Aavegotchi (GHST)

Aavegotchi is a creation of Pixelart Studios in Singapore. Pixelart Studios was founded by Jesse Johnson. The Aave Protocol was founded by Stani Kulechov, who, in collaboration with Johnson, created Aavegotchi. Aave is the Finnish word for ghost. The ticker GHST is also an abbreviation of the English word ghost. The game is the most actively played game on a DAO and is the first pixel art NFT on the Polygon blockchain. Each Aave is an NFT and can thus be customized according to your own taste. The more rare attributes your Aavegotchi possesses, the more tokens you can earn; this is referred to as Rarity Farming. There is a marketplace where you can buy all sorts of accessories and attributes for your Aavegotchi using your GHST tokens. Each NFT has a so-called Spirit Force, which represents the balance of your yield in the Aave Protocol. You need this Spirit Force to summon your avatar in games and tasks. When your Aavegotchi's Spirit Force drops below the minimum, it is sent back to the so-called Nether Realm and the NFT is burned, with the owner receiving back the collateral. You use your web3 Aavegotchis to explore, build, compete, earn, and socialize in the Gotchiverse, thereby earning GHST tokens. These governance tokens grant users the right to vote in decisions made within the protocol. It is possible to lend out your tokens or take out a loan, earning tokens in return. The protocol is secured with the Proof of Stake consensus mechanism. Being an open-source protocol, developers can create games on it themselves.
