About Aragon

Aragon was founded in 2016 by Luis Ivan Cuende and Jorge Izquierdo. They are also the founders of Aragon Association and Aragon One, a company that supports the services of Aragon. The project aims to enable everyone to experiment with governance at the speed of software, with Aragon striving to build a superstructure for creating DAOs. Developers use AragonOS, a framework for smart contracts, which allows users to utilize various available modules for fundraising, encouraging contributors to join their community, and making decisions through group participation. Every Aragon DAO comes with the Tokens, Finance, and Vote functions, which organizations can supplement with other modules. The system is governed by the ANT token, putting the control of the protocol in the hands of users who use the token to vote on decision-making.
