The Injective Protocol relies on several essential components in ensuring its efficiency: order books, Bi-directional token bridge for transferring ERC-20 tokens going to and coming from the chain, TEC or trade execution coordinator, EVM or Ethereum Virtual Machine Execution Environment, protocol governance, the INJ token, collateral backing, security, exchange fee value accrual, tokenomics, and incentivizing participation. Additionally, the network is a Cosmos SDK module and uses Proof-of-Stake (PoS) in managing and facilitating cross-chain derivatives that are trading across protocols.

About Injective Protocol

Injective Protocol is fairly new in the blockchain technology industry as it was introduced only in December 2020. The platform’s founders, Eric Chen and Albert Chon, have extensive knowledge and experience in finance and software development, respectively. Chen is a New York University Finance bachelor’s degree holder who used to be an Innovating Capital venture partner. He is one of Injective Protocol’s early investors and serves as the CEO. Chon, who is Injective Protocol’s CTO, has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. His specialization is in Systems. He served as Amazon’s Software Development Engineer prior to the founding of Injective Protocol. They are backed by a team of marketing research and financial markets specialists, Golang developers, Solidity developers, and full-stack developers. Some of their investors include Pantera Capital, CMS Holdings, QCP Capital, BlockTower, and Mark Cuban.
