What is the difference between a deposit and a withdrawal?

Using a 'withdrawal', you can send cryptocurrencies from your wallet to an external wallet, for example to another exchange or a personal wallet.

With a 'deposit', you can send crypto from an external wallet to your Coinmerce account. For example, from another exchange or a personal wallet such as a Ledger. Clicking on 'deposit' will display an address where you can send the relevant cryptocurrency to.

Note: each cryptocurrency has a unique address and networks may be different. Should a tag/memo be displayed don't forget to add it, if you don't do this the coins will not arrive.
