Coinmerce Receives Regulatory Approval in France
Coinmerce is proud to announce its registration as a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) in France.
Following successful registrations in the Netherlands and Spain, CEO of Coinmerce Jaap de Bruijn states that he is pleased to see another European regulator acknowledging their robust compliance and security standards.
Co-founder Luc Smits van Oyen and Chief Compliance Officer Nikola Péliová played an integral part in securing the French registration by obtaining clearance with the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR).
After Binance left the Dutch market, the majority of the users migrated to Coinmerce, making it one of the leading crypto platforms in the Netherlands. While already servicing customers in 11 countries, Coinmerce aims to introduce crypto in every wallet by making it easy and accessible for all.
Founded by two brothers, in 2017, Coinmerce is a European fiat-to-crypto trading platform which offers 350+ tokens. “We focus on security and simplicity for our users, so we can offer a safe, educational, and enjoyable trading experience”, Co-founder Nick Smits van Oyen states. “We put our users first, especially non-crypto-natives to stimulate wider adoption. That is why we were the first crypto platform that offered a support hotline and a physical crypto store.”
Coinmerce is looking forward to continuing its close cooperation with local regulators to accommodate any new jurisdictions and requirements.
“Nous sommes impatients de partager cette aventure avec vous !”
