DOGE dog gets statue after crowdfunding campaign

A special tribute will soon be held in Japan for the famous Japanese Shiba Inu dog named "Kabosu. This dog is loved around the world for its role in several popular memes and is also the symbol of Dogecoin (DOGE). In honor of this iconic dog, a bronze statue is being erected in Japan. Funding for this statue will come from the DOGE community.

On Nov. 2, 2022, Kabosu, the face of the DOGE community, celebrated his seventeenth birthday. On this day, a special crowdfunding campaign was launched with the goal of erecting a bronze statue of the popular dog.

The crowdfunding began with an initial goal of $42,069 and within 72 hours already reached. Unfortunately, the DOGE community's plans were disrupted by the collapse of FTX.

The Dogecoin Foundation has announced that the global DOGE community will unite to create a symbol of joy and positivity. The crowdfunding ends on Dec. 6, which is also the ninth anniversary of Dogecoin.

Immutable partners up with Amazon

Immutable (IMX), a blockchain gaming company, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud computing platform, are joining hands for a great partnership. The goal of these two parties is to develop an infrastructure solution for the crypto gaming industry.

Immutable now has five years of experience in developing Web 3 games, such as Illuvium (ILV) and Gods Unchained. Immutable operates on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain.

Game developers have the ability to leverage the Immutable X blockchain, which acts as an additional layer (layer-2) on top of the Ethereum blockchain. In addition, they can now join AWS Activate, a program that allows startups to receive up to $100,000 in AWS credit. Using AWS's services, these blockchain companies can easily take advantage of cloud computing, analytics and security capabilities. This enables developers to realize significant savings on both their infrastructure and operational costs.

CoinmarketCap launches ChatGPT plug-in

CoinMarketCap, the popular data and information crypto platform, has created a new plugin for its AI chatbot ChatGPT, based on the large-language model (LLM).

This was reported by CoinMarketCap in an announcement on Oct. 11. According to the platform, users can access this feature by logging into their ChatGPT Plus account and enabling the plug-in. There are no additional costs associated with using the plug-in, other than those associated with the ChatGPT Plus subscription.

The LLM is able to generate answers to simple questions about, for example, the correlation between Bitcoin and Ethereum in 2023, or how variations in token distribution models such as ICOs and IDOs are related to price volatility. Through this integration, the questions are obtained directly from CoinMarketCap, with real-time information and the latest blockchain statistics.
