The number of wallets for Dogecoin (DOGE), the biggest memecoin in the crypto industry, has reached an impressive milestone in terms of global adoption. The popular memecoin has surpassed a particular number. This is not only good news for the adoption of Dogecoin, but also for the adoption of cryptocurrency worldwide.

Dogecoin achieves remarkable figures

The number of DOGE wallets has surpassed 5 million for the first time. At the same time, the daily number of active addresses on the network has also increased significantly in recent days. The Proof of Work network had less than 87,000 active addresses last Saturday, while there were already over 194,000 on Monday. This number has not been this high since February of last year.

Furthermore, the number of confirmed transactions has also skyrocketed. They have increased by as much as 1,000% in 10 days. On Sunday, confirmed transactions reached a peak of over 1.7 million. This marks the highest number of confirmed transactions since June of this year.
