Seamless Web 3 gaming experience

Immutable (IMX) is a Layer 2 blockchain on the Ethereum (ETH) network. Immutable aims to promote the acceptance of cryptocurrency in the gaming sector. The company aims to achieve seamless integration between gaming and blockchain, contributing to the growing popularity of crypto within the gaming community.

Immutable recently launched the new tool, called "Passports," which allows Web 3 gamers to use their identity and assets across multiple platforms. The tool is currently available to five hundred thousand gamers on five different gaming marketplaces.

The games and marketplaces already integrated include Gods Unchained, Blocklete Golf, Bleacher Report Watch2Earn, TokenTrove, and AtomicHub.

An interoperable Web 3 world

Passports aims to overcome a major obstacle in the Web 3 gaming sector: player recruitment. For many Web 3 games, attracting new players is a significant challenge. Currently, each new Web 3 game requires players to create a separate wallet, and they are unable to carry their assets and achievements from other games. This lack of interoperability creates a barrier to attracting new players. Immutable's new tool aims to address this problem and lower the barrier for player recruitment.
