This allows you to send gold, real estate, cars, software or art over the blockchain.

Even though Ravencoin looks like any other blockchain, there is a big difference from, for example, Bitcoin and Ethereum. Ravencoin has optimized the process of sending assets. As a result, it is incredibly cheap to carry out a transaction, and it is processed almost instantly. Ravencoin is thus a scalable blockchain that was created from a hard fork with the Bitcoin blockchain. So the basics are the same, but after the split, the developers of Ravencoin made several adjustments.

The RVN coin is the cryptocurrency of Ravencoin, of which 21 billion pieces are stocked. The most significant advantage of Ravencoin: the blockchain can process transactions faster and faster once the number of transactions over the network increases. Also, the blockchain is ASIC-resistant, which means that you do not need any special equipment to be active as a miner within Ravencoin's network.
