How does UTRUST work?

The buyers find merchants who accept crypto payments and try to determine if Utrust is integrated into the payment systems. A conversion fee and a commission are charged to the buyer and when the purchase is completed, the fiat money is automatically turned into escrow and will only be released after a specific time frame and if there are no disputes; the merchant gets the payment in fiat.

About UTRUST

In August 2017, Roberto Machado and Nuno Correia built the Utrust cryptocurrency platform with the goal of modernizing and improving the finance industry. The system also makes it possible to allow users to enjoy safety and convenience when facilitating payments with the help of ERC-20 tokens and other major cryptocurrencies. One of the major advantages of Utrust is its capability to instantly turn crypto payments into USD, EUR, and GBP. Additionally, the system does not require middlemen or any third parties. So, it’s a win-win process for merchants because it makes the entire process simpler, more flexible, and faster. It’s also safer because it prevents chargebacks and fraud. Utrust’s ICO or initial coin offering happened in 2017, towards the end of the year. It collected approximately $21 million. A percentage of the tokens were used for presale events, marketing, bug bounty programs, and development.
