Basic Attention Token
Basic Attention Token is designed as a solution for the "outdated" advertising market. The crypto project aims to set up a new decentralized advertising platform with the help of blockchain and thus radically change the current online marketing. The token BAT serves as a transaction between advertisers and visitors.
BAT is a so-called ERC-20 token, which means that it runs on the blockchain network of Ethereum. In addition, Basic Attention Token is already a working product as one of the few cryptocurrency projects. The project has namely the Brave internet browser, a competitor of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox.
The total circulation of BAT 1,500,000,000 was generated during the first coin offer on 31 May 2017. A third of the total offer was initially retained by the team. The ICO was sold out within 30 seconds and generated USD 35 million.
