Ankr (ANKR)

Ankr started in 2017 in California. Its founders are Chandler Song, Ryan Fang, and Stanley Wu. Song studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley. Prior to Ankr, he worked with Amazon, was part of the CitySpade development team, and an early Bitcoin adopter. Like Song, Wu worked with Amazon, where he stayed for 10 years as Technology Lead. He also has extensive cloud computing knowledge as he was one of Amazon Web Services’ early engineers. Another key player in Ankr is Song Liu, the network’s Chief Security Engineer. Aside from his Electrical Engineering degree from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Liu is also acknowledged for his ethical hacker skills and experiences. These four men work with solid backgrounds in technical disciplines and engineering, as well as some experiences in marketing. The team created Ankr with the initial aim of building a global network that provides access to affordable decentralized cloud computing.
