In Bluzelle’s ecosystem, there are two players: producers, who “sell” or offer their servers and computing power, and consumers, who are the developers or creators of DApps. When consumers upload their files, they are divided into various swarms or nodes located in different areas around the globe to reduce the risk of a massive failure because of a breach, natural disaster, or other issues like a blackout; meanwhile, producers stake their token according to the level of service they provide, and if they come up short, they may need to refund the consumer and receive deduction in their karma index, which may affect their ability to offer database services.

About Bluzelle

Bluzelle is a company founded by Pavel Bains and Neeraj Murarka, who also work as CEO and CTO, respectively. The team members, on the other hand, are comprised of individuals with knowledge and experience in artificial intelligence, computer networking, and blockchain. Bains, in particular, has over 15 years experience in operational management while Murarka has been a computer systems architect for at least 20 years. On January 18, 2018, the company issued a public token offering, in which it created 500 million BLZ tokens. Only 33 percent were sold, equivalent to 165 million. About 5 percent was distributed among the initial seed investor and 15 percent to the founders.
