Ethereum Classic staking is unfortunately not possible. This is because the blockchain of Ethereum Classic does not use Proof of Stake. About Ethereum Classic

In 2015, the Ethereum blockchain was introduced and launched as a network for ETH cryptocurrency transactions. A year later, the network was hacked that resulted to a loss of funds totaling $50 million. Eventually, a new Ethereum was created by the Ethereum Foundation in July 2016. Trademarks were applied for two separate blockchains: the Ethereum and Ethereum Classic. The Ethereum blockchain, which goes by the ticker ETH, is considered the newer version. Ethereum Classic (ETC), on the other hand, was officially recognized as the renamed but unaltered version of the original Ethereum. Currently, ETC’s market capitalization stands at around $1.3 billion with coin circulation at more or less 116 million. Ethereum Classic trades for almost $11, significantly lower than its namesake ETH, which goes for $1,500 per coin. Nevertheless, Ethereum Classic is holding its ground as it continues to institute improvements, with the goal of using smart contracts for the creation of a global payment network.
