Highstreet (HIGH)

Highstreet evolved from the computer vision company LumiereVR, founded in 2015. This company was focused on enhancing the retail experience through the use of Virtual Reality. Highstreet builds upon this by creating a virtual world where products from the real world are offered for sale by thousands of brands. Founders Travis Wu and Jenny Guo aimed to bridge the gap between physical stores and the Web 3 space by building a metaverse that integrates gaming, shopping, crypto, social networking, gaming, and NFTs into one MMORPG game (phygital). Users can participate in quests, attend social events, interact with other players, and purchase NFTs from real brands, earning the HIGH token in the process. This token can then be spent on products available on the marketplace. The Highstreet game features ducks as companions, allowing players to explore the world and encounter and defeat various monsters. By winning, players can earn tokens to purchase real-life in-game items. The HIGH token serves as a governance token, allowing users to participate in decision-making within the platform, while the STREET token is used for in-game purchases.
