If you would like to become such a worker, you must link your machines, after which you are rewarded with RLC tokens for contributing your resources to the network. IExec uses the proof-of-contribution consensus protocol PoCo, which provides consensus on off-chain computing. This allows external resource providers to certify the use of their resources on the blockchain itself. IExec also provides distributed applications on the blockchain, which provide secure, scalable and convenient access to servers, datasets and computing resources. This virtual cloud infrastructure can provide powerful on-demand computing services because it all runs on Ethereum.
