Illuvium (ILV)

Illuvium was founded by brothers Aaron and Kieran Warwick. It is a game where you can earn money by playing (Play-to-Earn). Illuvium has blockchain elements, but can also be played just like a regular video game with a desktop app. It is also supported by DeFi applications. Illuvium is built on Immutable X's layer-2 solution and secured by Ethereum. By using IMX, players can buy and sell NFTs with virtually no transaction fees. In the game, you can fight other players with your Illuvials, with each Illuvial having different distinctive powers. This makes each Illuvial unique and therefore obtainable as an NFT. This makes you the owner of every Illuvial you buy or obtain in the game. NFTs can be offered for sale not only on NFT marketplaces, but also on IlluvDEX, the game's decentralized marketplace. In total, the game contains seven different landscapes and more than 100 Illuvials, divided into five affinities (Water, Earth, Fire, Nature and Air) and five classes (Fighter, Protector, Villain, Psion and Empath), each with unique powers and hybrid synergies. The token used in the game is ILV, which is used as a governance token and as a reward for players when they complete missions.
