Liquity is an automated, governance-free, and decentralized lending protocol that runs on the Ethereum blockchain. Users can connect their non-custodial wallet to Liquity to use the platform. LUSD is one of the tokens of Liquity and plays a significant role within the platform. LUSD is used to execute the loans, while LQTY is the token that rewards users when they provide stability and liquidity to Liquity. When users deposit Ethereum into their account or "Trove," they receive a loan in LUSD. These LUSD tokens can be exchanged for ETH. Liquidity is provided by other users, who receive a reward in the form of interest. Despite being a fully decentralized project, LQTY and LUSD do not offer governance rights.
