Chinese Ethereum Investor Spends $6.8 Million to Warn About Mental Manipulation

A Chinese programmer has sent $6.8 million worth of Ethereum (ETH) to various addresses, including a burn address and donations, to raise awareness about what he sees as large-scale mental manipulation by corporations and government agencies.

Millions in ETH Sent with a Message

On February 17, Ethereum investor Hu Lezhi sent 500 ETH to a so-called null address (0x0000), which is typically used for the permanent destruction of tokens. This unusual transaction pattern was noticed by a crypto platform that monitors blockchain activity.

Further investigation revealed that Lezhi made a total of 16 transactions to various destinations, including donations to organizations and blockchain-related entities. Notably, all these transactions contained on-chain messages in which he warned about the use of advanced technologies to influence and control people.

Concerns About Technological Manipulation

According to the messages Lezhi included in his transactions, companies are allegedly using advanced brain-computer technology to manipulate employees and strip them of their willpower. He claimed that this technology turns victims into "digital slaves" without free will.

Lezhi stated that, as a programmer, he only recently discovered that he had been under surveillance and manipulation his entire life. Since realizing this, the influence on him had only intensified.

Major Names Accused

Among the specific companies he named was Kuande Investment, a Chinese firm with CEOs Feng Xin and Xu Yuzhi. According to Lezhi, not only are employees affected by this technology, but even the leaders themselves.

A Final Warning?

The transactions, which began on February 10 and were spread over several days, contained a recurring message:

“There is a new form of crime in which the victim is slowly stripped of their desires until they become a complete slave to the digital machine. If I ever reach the final stage, I will leave this world.”

In total, Lezhi donated and destroyed 2,553.25 ETH to bring attention to his warning, an amount valued at approximately $6.86 million at the time of the transactions. His actions highlight how blockchain is not only a financial tool but also a means to permanently record messages in an increasingly digital world.
