Approval of Ethereum ETFs within reach
It has been a month since the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the applications of eight ETF applicants in the United States. Despite this approval, it is still not possible for investors to invest in these products. Nevertheless, optimism is growing for a soon launch, which would be a significant milestone for Ethereum (ETH) and the entire crypto industry.
On Thursday, May 23, the SEC approved all eight applications for Ethereum ETFs, including those from major Wall Street players such as BlackRock and Fidelity. Since then, efforts have been made to obtain approval for the S-1 forms, which provide detailed information about the fund.
Last Friday, all issuers submitted revised S-1 applications, placing the ball back in the hands of the financial regulator.
