About SushiSwap

SushiSwap was launched in September 2020 as a "fork" of UniSwap, by an anonymous founder: Chef Nomi. The other two anonymous founders are sushiswap and 0xMaki, or Maki. Little is known about these founders. It is possible at SushiSwap to contribute liquidity to the pool, for which you get SUSHI tokens in return. You really do get rewarded for your contribution: with each newly created block, 100 new SUSHI tokens are created, which are distributed to the users. Also, 0.05% of the transaction fee is converted into SUSHI and distributed to token holders. SushiSwap is supported and secured by the Ethereum blockchain. The SUSHI token is also used as a governance token.
